Default Front end alignment specs

I'm looking for inputs on front end alignment specs. Car is used for primarily for regular driving - but I do like to rip on on/off ramps and other curvy stuff. I only drag and auto-x about once a year. I'm running 275 Nitto 555 front/315 555R rear. I don't want to wear the inside edges of the tires as I cannot rotate the tires - they are directional and specific to front/rear. So I'm looking for a little negative camber but not too much. Thoughts???

Those specs sound like a good compromise - not much different than stock but not too aggressive. Anyone running 1-1.5 degress negative camber for street duty? Anyone running less positive caster? I am thinking a little less positive caster than 5 degrees. The 3-4 gen f-bods have pretty hefty steering input - especially with 17x9.5" front tires. The car has no problems darting around at the factory caster setting. So I'm thinking 3 degrees positive caster to help with turn in but not too crazy to make me behind on the steering or cause the car to be darty. Agree on 0 toe - maybe thinking 1/32 toe-out to balance the 3 degrees of caster. Thanks for the input - anymore opinions?

Me....

I've had minimal tire wear and great performance out of my current alignment (in sig below). I'm already running toe out as well....have done that on a 3rd and 4th gen now and it works great.

Trackbird - those specs are very similiar to what I was thinking. How many miles on the tires with those specs? Have you tried less (i.e. 3-4 degrees) positive caster?

I run -1.4/+4.5/0
No increased tire wear with regular rotating.

My front tires have 20045 miles on them as of tonight. They are the factory Eagle RSA's (Really Slide Around or Really Suck ***.....anyway...). I did the alignment about 7500 to 8500 miles ago. My front tires have over 1/2 of the total tread left and there is a minimal difference between the inside and outside edges of the tire (as far as wear). I didn't bother to rotate my tires, I prefer to have teh best ones on the front in order to stop in the rain (and snow), and will be replacing the tires and rims soon anyway....(I autocross on 255/50-16 Goodyear Eagle GS-CS tires.) Hope this helps.

Okay car goes in tomorrow - going with -1.3 ~ +4.0 ~ 1/32 toeout. Thanks for the input guys. It sure helps to learn by others experience instead of making a dumb decision on your own
