suspension squeaking and banging?
I just recently lowered my car with an eibach pro kit and other that some serious wheel hop there were no problems. Just this past weekend i installed some BMR LCA relocation brackets, BMR adj. LCA's, and a BMR Adj. PHR. When i first drove it i noticed that there was some banging coming from under the rear end and it sounded like the suspension i just installed so i thought that it was because it was new and once it got some wear on it that it would go away. Now i am driving my car out tonight and the damn rear end starts squeaking. I dont know if it is the new suspension i just installed is not adjusted right or what. What do you guys think?

Re: suspension squeaking and banging?
If the bushings are squeaking.
Raise the vehicle and support on jackstands.
Loosen all suspension bolts (for the parts that were changed or loosened during the install).
Support vehicle weight on rear axle (leave jackstands under chassis and place stands under axle to support weight of vehicle on axle or use a drive on lift, the bolts are loose, don't drive to a lift and always support the vehicle and axle, just put teh weight on the axle).
Tighten all suspension bolts (with weight of vehicle on axle).
You should now be virtually squeak free!

Re: suspension squeaking and banging?
Man, i am having the same prob with my LG set up!
I just had "this past weekend" LGM install my bilsteins,G2 Super Springs,G2 Adj PHR, G2 Sway bars. I get that same banging in the right rear!?
Front is solid! Car drives Great on the hwy & level roads! Once i hit the reflectors in the hwy, creep over speed bumps, my susp creaks like an old man! & that popping in the right rear is annoying as F#$%!!! Will be taking it back to Mike @ LGM to have him look @ it!
Overall though, the car looks great & drives wonderfully!

Re: suspension squeaking and banging?
When I put on my H&R springs and Koni DA's, I had the same banging during hard shifts or over rough pavement. I was tuning the shocks and added 2 clicks of compression to my original 3 clicks in the rear and the noise went away. It is either the lower panhard rod hitting the upper panhard rod (I saw no marks on the panhard), or, my best guess is that on a hard bump, the rear axle "launches" upwards until it hits the bumpstop hard enough to cause the exhaust kit to contact the upper panhard rod, etc. I never did find the exact cause and since my car handled better on the new shock settings and the problem went away....I never bothered to get back under it and look. Just my experience.
