I was wondering what was the safest and easiest way to jack up the rear of the car to change out the control arms and panhard bar?

3 'install documents' in there.
1st is called 'LS1 Jack Points'
2nd is the LCA install, 3rd is the PHR install.

Pumpkin lift if you can get it (tough on mine
w/ body lowered plus rear valance) and then
lower it onto jackstands, from there you can
let the rear fall to unload the springs.

I hope this isn't a dumb question but is it really necessary to leave the rear suspension hanging to unload the rear springs? I'm planning on replacing my LCA's here in a couple of weeks and I was just going to back my car up on ramps. Is there something I'm missing?
