Default Is it bad?

Not sure if this is the right place to put this but...

When I am stopped at a light and my foot is on the brake, the car still creeps as if your not pushing down hard enough (but I have the brake pedal basically to the floor)

Cause yea.... thats whats up with my car.

Thoughts?

Either poor brake performance, or idle too high and getting stall creep due to a tight converter.

I assume the car is an A4, so both could be possible.

Id check the break fluid first and start with replacing te master and slave for the brakes and see what u got after that.

Put it in neutral and hold brake to see if it still creeps. That will eliminate the question about torque converter or idleing high. It's probably air in the brake lines though.

Good, then your problem doesn't sound serious now. Its not your brake pads, no matter how crappy they are. It is most likely air in the brake lines. You can do it yourself if you know how. Just simple tools, but needs to be jacked up, and two people. If you get all the air out of the lines, and still doesn't stop good: Maybe a vacuum leak or master cylinder problem. Check lines first.
