Default How to change front rotors and pads

Can anyone please point me to a website where I can see just how to change front rotors and pads?
I havn't changed 2002 WS6 T/A rotors or pads before, and a write-up with pics. would be most usefull

Hi! it's easy! just remember if you take the rear rotors off, to take your handbrake off first! that way your not smackin the crap out of it for half an hour wonderin why it won't come off!

Although it wasnt me that put the ebrake up, it was my friend. I just didnt realize it was up. Thought the stock rotors were rusted onto the hub

I dont take it as a joke. Not everyone is as mechanicly advance as each other. Isnt that one of the reasons were all on this site??


Doing your brakes is probably the easiest thing you can do on your car and just about any one can do it. A few tips from me would be to make sure you have a can of break clean ready and dont get any grease or grime on your rotors but then again thats why you should have your brake clean for. Also its a great time to paint your calipers while you have them danglin there.
Thats also something easy to do. Just tape everything off and spray about 6-8 coats on and there you go nice shiny painted calipers. Good luck!

make sure to hang the caliper with a peice of wire, don't just let it hang on the brake line, you don't want to stretch it.
