Hey guys im completely new this this site but im on TGO, ive got an '87 IROCZ that i road race and i was looking into putting the CTS-V calipers on my camaro and i found this thread when just looking around.
Im the fabricator/race car builder at a BMW shop in Nor Cal and Speed Demon i saw your post about wanting to adapt these calipers to your M3...i am currently in the beginning stages of developing more cost friendly front and rear brembo brake kits for E36 M3s, other E36s and for the older 3 series (E30s). I know Eb Miller from TGO and ive talked to a lot of BMW owners about the lack of cheaper options like us camaro guys have mostly thanks to Eb Miller.
Sooo if your interested please let me know!

is it possible to use this bracket and the cts or new ss caliper and a set of the
Z51 rotors to fit under a 17 in. rim it is a bracket off this site (LS1tech)
93-02 Camaro To Corvette Brake Conversion Brackets ( this is the listing i found it under)
These 1/2 inch thick caliper adapter brackets allow you to use 12.8" X 1.26' C5/C6 corvette rotors and the PBR- made C5/C6 front calipers on any 93-02 F-Body.Total weight of installed components is equal to what is removed from LT1 cars, 25 lbs. They are laser cut with a state of the art Trumatic 4050 laser from 1045 steel & then nickel plated for durability. Installation is identical to the Baer GT+ system and requires cutting off the "ears" from the LT1 spindles or "ear" on the LS1 spindles. All OEM 17" wheels fit this application. Some after market wheels may need spacers.
The C5/C6 rotors are about 1" bigger than the LS1 rotors and about 2" bigger than the LT1 rotors. They are also directional, unlike the LT 1 and LS1 setups. The directional fins pull air through the rotors to cool them better. Unlike other after market brake setups, C5/C6 components can be purchased at any parts store. These also work with the C6 Z51 13.4" brakes & the C6 ZO6 14" brakes.
Master cylinders on '93-'02 F-bodies do not need to be changed out for this swap. They provide the necessary hydraulic line pressure to actuate the Corvette calipers & give great pedal feedback for smooth application.Stock brake lines from '98-'02 F-body are utilized in this swap.
The '97-'07 C5/C6 Corvette rotors are a hubless design just like the '93-'02 4th Gen. F-body is. This allows the C5/C6 rotors to slip on & off the 4th Gen. F-body O.E. hub. No aftermarket hub is needed for this conversion. The '97-'07 Corvette brake conversion will bring your 4th gen. F-body ('93-'02 Camaro, Firebird & T/A) up to today's standards in braking capability, with your choice of braking systems ranging from:
12.8" x 1.25" rotors w/pressure cast aluminum twin piston PBR calipers.
13.4" x 1.25" rotors w/pressure cast aluminum twin piston PBR calipers.
14" x 1.25" rotors with six piston PBR calipers.
( i am not selling anything i just am posting a link up for the parts i saw in the ad that are already for sale here wondering if the bracket this guy has would work for us guys that want to keep our 17's)

Hey, dont the 2010 ss camaros run brembo's? I was looking at them the other day at the dealership, looks like either 13 or 14 inch rotors. Do the mew camaro's run a standard 5 lug patern like us? Im only in this section for this reason.
Ok I looked back a few pages and saw you guy's were already onto this.... Im gunna keep posted.

The new Camaros are 5 lug, with a 5x120mm bolt pattern. 4th gens are 5x120.65mm, which is extremely close, but not exact. They may still fit however, since its such a small difference.

Yes, the 2010 Camaro SS models have Brembo 4 piston calipers front and rear. They use 14" rotors up front, and 14.4" in the rear. Both vented.

Just wondering if someone's going to start putting a whole complete CTS braking kit for our cars. I know vendors have the old c5 upgrade kits with everything one needs to do the swap.
What about these kits?
What about these kits?

I think the main impediment is the lack of profit potential. All the parts are readily available at reasonable prices and no special caliper adapter is need in this case. Most will simply piece together the kit themselves and will be unwilling to pay a premium for the convenience of a "kit". That's my take on it anyway.

now theres the 6 piston brembo that the ZR1/ZO6 Carbon/CTS-V use. wonder how easy that would be to bolt on? actually wonder if the same bracket used for the current 6 piston ZO6 Caliper would work w/ the new brembo's. hmmmm. lol or would that be over kill haha.

These are threaded for 14mm mounting bolts and may require drilling out the mounting holes to fit the large diameter bolts (the CTS uses 12mm bolts)
G8 GXP Calipers, silver with "brembo" lettering
92221883
92221882
uses 12 mm bolts like the CTS-V calipers

from the measurements provided so far, these should just fit behind my 18" Z06 wheels without spacers. Sweet.
Being in Canada, getting these parts is a hassle. I can get things shipped to just south of the border, but if there is a problem with them, any savings quickly fly out the window.
I found that I can get the calipers and pin kits just over twice what gmpartsdirect is listing, including shipping, just by going to the local GM dealer and asking nicely.
Pads are easy. Probably Hawk HPS (remembering to order the Camaro/Caddy pads and not the Z06 pads).
Finding non-drilled Z06 rotors not so easy. Powerslot has no blanks at this time, so DBA is the only option, at CAN$200 each slotted.
But, having just put on four new Michelin Pilot Sport AS tires last month and today I bought all the stuff to convert the car to air bag suspension, including an Accuair controller, the budget will have to recover before I order the brake parts.
