you can use your Fbody calipers, Fbody pads.. C5 rotors.. and mounting brackets to place the calipers out farther from LGmotorsports or UMI

C5 and Fbody calipers are the same.. the only difference is how they were made, one cast, one pressure cast.. so its not the caliper per-se but the placement of the caliper father outward in diameter to produce better stoping power.

your post thread subject is the reason for my post.. you dont use Fbody rotors..

Different brackets require different parts. What brackets do you plan on running?

the LG allows you to use stock Fbody calipers. The trackbrackets and UMI are designed for the C5 caliper mount. The fbody has 12mm bolts and C5 has 14mm bolts.

You may need the C5 abutment brackets to properly space the calipers. I did, at least.

Kore3 brackets, C5 abutment brackets, C5 rotors, f-body pads and calipers. I am VERY happy with my setup.

Hold on.... C5 rotors are exactly identical to Ls1 rotors other than the quality ?

I have a good set of low miles OEM ls1 rotors and I need to buy c5 rotors for a project.(non fbody)

I was gonna buy autozone rotors si I guess I am better off with good OEM ls1 rotors eh ?

What about the brake pads ? Are they the same ?

Yes, I used f-body calipers, C5 abutment brackets, and C5 rotors, with the Kore3 brackets. Bolted up perfectly.
