We have found that the torque arm relocation kits do not offer any vibration or reduce ride quality.. we have found them to be very streetable.

On the chassis mounted torque arms, we have found the same thing. Usually noise issues and "clunks" are caused by a incorrect installation, incorrect torque setting or a mis match of parts. Every tunnel mounted/Chassis mounted arm we have installed at our shop has been noise and vibration free. All customers that have had any issues, once they make a phone call to us we can easily offer the pointers that were over looked to cure it.

Hope that helps!

Part of the noise issue I had with mine is the gear whine from my 12 bolt (which normally doesn't bother me) was amplified x 10,000 thru the cabin, which doesn't have anything to do with the set up.

So are TAs generally used for drag racing or are there also benefits to using one for say, spirited driving on twisty roads rather than the stock piece?

the chassis mounted are more geared for drag racing. the longer work well for autox and drag.

I broke my tailshaft on the dyno about 3 wks ago rather than just replace the tailshaft I ordered abuilt trans.Got the car back on the dyno and it broke that tailshaft too.I am only making 355rwhp,def. dont run 10's.The shop sent the driveshaft out and they said it was unbalanced so had it balanced.I had them order a TA relocation bracket(BMR I think)I dont know if it was the driveshaft being unbalanced or that the TA had to come off the tailshaft I just picked up the car tonight it seems to be fine I was just surprised that the tailshaft broke twice at only 355rwhpSo what do you guys think caused it the the driveshaft unbalanced or did the TA have to come off the tailshaft at 355rwhp?sorry to hijack this thread
