Default are there any Koni clones??

i know about the lower perch mod and heater hose mod with the konis but they are alittle pricey.. are there any other shocks on the market that do the same exact thing (lower perch mod/heater hose)?? if not, i guess ill buy konis. advice? comments? thanks

Well.. heater hose, yes. lower perch no... so if you just wanted to lower the back, any shock will work. Another option for the front would be a coilover sleeve.. but seriously. Koni's are worth the money

And by the time you buy shocks that aren't as good a damper for lowered cars, lets's say Bilstein's for $349 a set, and a set of Ground Controls for $429 or so... you are basically as the same price, even a little more, as a set of Koni's and are left with no damping adjustment and no ability to tune the car, and shocks not meant to damp the higher rate springs in a lesser amount of travel.

thanks Sam! i guess ill HAVE to take advice from a suspension expert and purchase the koni's.
