Default non-adj phb and lca

So a couple months ago i was given non adjustable panhard bar and lower control arms. In the future i might want to lower the car maybe an 1", but definitly not any more. I also might want to put 315 in the rear. Would I absolutely have to buy adjustable pieces and get rid of the ones i have now or are the pieces i have now useable at all? Thanks alot guys

Cool reply

If you lower the car you will need adjustable panhard rod, this will center the drivetrain(if you lower the car , i THINK it will push the rearend to the right making the driveline set at incorrect angles) as well as the LCAs, you will mostly likey be adding plans for subframe connectors so the adjustable is good, but adjustable LCAs transfer road noise! also look forward to also adding a torque arm too!

Yea i have subframe connectors and am already planning on a torque arm in the future. Any other opinions? I have read of people doing it without adjustable pieces but want to know the consequences of using non-adjustable.

Thumbs up Non-adjustable

personally i think non-adjustable is better for LCAs (stronger). keep the your LCAs and get rid of your non-adjustable pan hard rod and get a adjustable one, you cant get around lower the car with out one. you shouldnt have any problems with the LCAs

i picked up my adjustable panhard rod from JEGS (jegster rod, for around 89.00 plus shipping) so far works perfect!

I had a non-adjustable PHB on my thirdgen for years. It was lowered with a prokit also and never had a problem. I am sure the rear was off center but the car was just fine. I did go with an adjustable one for this car though, wanted to see the difference.

If you are planning to lower the car and fit the larger 315 tire on it I would recommend the adjustable panhard bar. I have seen some cars get away with the non adjustable but every car is different from the factory.

Cool LCAs are fine

Hey if you lower you car your non-adjustable LCAs will be fine,
but the PHR will need to be a adjustable one,

you can sell your PHR on this site or Ebay,

also i like UMIs adjustable (on car setup)PHR check them out they have 10% off right now

Also the techs at UMI will be willing to answer your questions,
