There's so much good info in this thread I thought I better bring it back up!

Everyone knows this is hands-down the best flat washer material out there, period. It's just that it's so hard to find washers made out of this stuff

No, washers are definately the way to go for cheap horsepower and suspension mods...Just like every sticker you put on your car adds ten horsepower!! Get with it dude, washers are the way to go! I like the fact you can hide the washers so no one see's them, it's like a stealth attack as opposed to the sticker mod that basically screams the amount of horsepower of your car.

Well, I did say the best washers made of unobtainium, but I will now have to add that you should get them powdercoated also!

Thanks to all of you (and your suggestions/experiences), I just ordered the ultimate washer upgrade for my car.

They're an auto-sizing, self installing "one-off" design made from a proprietary JDM (Type "R") ceramic and teflon powder-coated carbon fiber/unobtanium composite that is helium filled (which actually makes the car LIGHTER than it would be WITHOUT washers). Each one has it's own unique high performance sticker too, which should really help out where it matters most. The best part is...they will work either WITH or WITHOUT a bolt!!

I'm not trying to brag here guys...I'm just so damned excited, and wanted to thank you all for leading me down the right path. I had no idea what my car really needed before I read this thread. I love this forum!!!

One question kinda lingers though : Will the fact that the composite is "JDM" make my car a "Ricer"????

God, I hope not!

honestly, you need to match your lube/fluid to the washer you are using. For example, I went with the depleted uranium carbon fiber weave washer and then I use GTR tranny fluid which can be found here http://www.mynismo.com/products/?id=7387 and since my washer reservoir holds about 10 quarts its works out well, some people prefer unicorn blood/urine but I found that to be a little cheap compared to the GTR tranny fluid

I'm using a non-reservoir lub so I'll be adding lube about every 2-3K miles myself. As far as the depleted uranium, I heard it doesn't 'mix' well with the CF so the use of GTR lube with regular CF is what I was considering.

Thanks
