i know i am bringing this back from the dead but i thought chromoly is 30% lighter than mild steel so shouldn't that chromoly arm weigh 16.8lbs...please explain umi i sent you a pm also...

You still have to take in account heim Joints, and the piece that bolts to the rear end housing. They are probably the same parts the steel one comes with.

i just installed the same ta on mine

the test went like this. with street tires in 37* wheather

power locked it, tires smoked, launch, some wheel spin, tires hook near 5k in 1st, shift in to 2nd and no wheel spin the rear just squatted.

i love it

great! i am hoping to get traction back with the same torque arm. my first gear is down right scary loose!
