BMR upper panhard ?
I just put my BMR upper panhard on last week, but was wondering what any of you other guys did with the heat shield between the muffler and gas tank. Since its not bolted to the upper panhard anymore, I can hear that rattle noise real bad back there. Did any of you guys just remove your heat shield(not sure how good of an idea that would be) or did you fab up something to fasten it somehow, or just live with the noise?
TIA

You will need to remove the heat shield to keep it from rattling. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask

You guys that got the upper phr what was your reason? Looks like it would lower the right side of the phb even more which is not what you want on a lowered car. I seen where they made a bracket for the driver side on the rear and by the time you got it level it would be pretty low I would think.

What bracket on the driver side are you talking about, the BMR upper panhard bolts directly into the stock holes on the driver side

This kit replaces the upper panhard rod support and relocates the panhard rod allowing enough room for up to dual 3" exhaust routing over the axle. Heavy duty tubular upper panhard rod support mounts in the original panhard rod location. New heavy duty brackets bolt to existing mounting holes and lower the panhard rod while maintaining the correct geometry. No welding or drilling required.
If you see this Lee, you guys do need to amend your statement about no drilling. You do have to do drilling to make the bolts you guys supply fit through the existing passenger side holes.

And as far as making the panhard rod not level...yes, that is true, but you are too far down in the weeds IMO on this point. Unless you are racing for money or something, it isn't gonna matter. Mine has been on for over 2 years, and I would have noticed anything negative about it by now. Some might need it level, but for most of us, this setup works fine as is.
