Default relocation brackets mandatory???

what does everyone think about these???

I know you have to have them if your car is lowered to reclaim lost CA angles but if your car is stock ride height are they necessary???? i'm trying to make sure i don't buy unnecessary parts and waste money.. wanted to hear other peoples opinions about them....

My car is lowered and I don't use them. For drag use you might want them on a lowered car, not for handling use.

What's your intended use for the car?

Ive noticed that even with stock suspension, the relocation brackets helped control wheel hop on the street and the track.

Im not using them I dont think they are needed for the street and I think there is other ways to get rid of wheel hop like tubular TA and LCA's. Sam will prob chime in and tell you they are not needed also.

I'd run them... it's a drag car, just what they are good for! Mark it down it's rare I say do them. They'll help the bite and you don't really seem to care about how it handles. If you do at all, then run weld-ins and then you can always use the stock hole at will.

If you need some, let me know.

I think the lower control arm works kinda like this pic minus the top arm which I believe is controled by the ta.
if the rear of the lca is lower it pushs to the ground on launch if it is stait it does not push down and may squat causing wheel hop because the car is falling on the rear and the rear is not pushing agaist the car falling on it.
correct me if I'm wrong.

well depends on what you're doing. I think the brackets just give you the adjustability much like if you have a 4 link setup in your drag car.... if you want to get stock or near stock handling you can go back up to the top hole....

if you're gonna drag race it then you can go lower to pick up some traction.....

Right and in that picture, the top is angle ideal for drag racing and the bottom is ideal for handling.
