Im not one to do things twice, so I would just go with the 35/36mm front bar.

I'm w DONAIMIAN. Spend a little extra to get "the best". Strano Bars are proven performers. They are hallow(lighter), 35mm front 22mm rear. They are less than $400 a set. Well worth the $!

^ I think that there has been a discussion about the BMR vs the Strano sway's.

I would only get a 1LE bar if I were keeping the stock rear bar for a scca stock class. All other cases I'd get the strano bars.

First, SS's, WS6's *HAVE* "1LE" bars, 32/19. 32/21 was a 1LE setup only in '93 and that had different front springs. 32/21 IMO is too rear biased. That doesn't matter if we are talking a pair of GM bars, BMR, Spohn, whoever.

What I'm saying is if you have an SS, etc, then no it's not worth the money to buy what you already have.

As for racing in stock, we still upgrade the front to 35 even though we can't touch the rear. Ideally we'd do both but in stock category we can't. A bigger front bar is still better than a smaller one.

To sum it up, if you want a 32 front, or already have one, don't change it, and leave the rear 19mm there. If you want to up the front and/or the rear go 35/21-22 (not saying you *HAVE* to use mine). The perk with my bars is they are pretty well proven for handling, and weigh less than any of the others since they are both hollow.

if so do you have a picture of both?

Ok, Addco's standard 22mm rear bar (which I also sell) is solid and has smaller end-links. Where my rear bar is hollow and I was adamant about beefier end-links.

The front bar, Addco's is 32. They hadn't made a 35 front for this car until I commissioned it. Occassionally you'll find it listed in an Addco catalog (mis-print), and it's only for sale through us. My front is 35mm, hollow, and uses bigger end-links again than what Addco uses in their normal bar. Weight difference between hollow 35 and solid 32, about 10 pounds lighter and greater roll stiffness.

My digital camera broke, so I can't take any pics. Some folks have, but honestly it's a bar and some hardware, not a lot to see..... Though they are now powdercoated black instead of the previous gray paint.

Too bad Addco hasn't and won't sell it to they (but Summit keeps trying). That bar did not exist before I made it happen and all the specs were determined by me. And if Summit is selling it, or even trying to, I'd like to know about it.

here is a few links for you then to summits site..

this one is Suspension Techniques.. and is advertised in INCHES as 1 3/8" which is 34.925mm (call it 35mm)this

and this is Addco's rear bar advertised in inches as 7/8" (22.22mm) this

im no longer seeing Addco advertise the " 1 3/8" bar..

the description for both say they are not hollow, but solid..

I have the suspension techniques bar. It is cheaper, but it's solid and weighs a ton. I wouldn't recommend it as it is pretty damn heavy. I would just get the Strano bar and spare the car from added weight

The ST bar is a full 14 pounds heavier than the Strano bar. That is, quite literally, twice the weight.
