Default subframe connectors

I was thinking of getting subframe connectors, but thought I'd ask around first.
What do you guys think the best ones are? I was thinking of getting the slp bolt ons. Though they are pricey.

Hello,

We offer (2) bolt on versions you may find in your price range. I posted the links below. Both versions are a 100% bolt on and require no drilling or cutting and include all necessary hardware. If you have any questions please ask and I am glad to help.

Hey Ryan, what is your opinion on the Weldon or Bolton? Is there a noticable difference having them welded on? Basically what is the advantage of welding them on over bolting them on.

That's a way better price than slp. is the 3 point brace the better of the two?
I also need black!

I've got black UMI bolt-ins. Definitely nice stuff. I think the advantage of weld-ins over bolt-ins is that you're distributing the load over a larger area (welded perimeter of the plates, vs 2 bolts). However, you can weld in bolt-ins just as easily.

I'm selling these right now:

They are brand new never installed. I bought them and they do not clear my Dynatech Y pipe. They are weld in design and almost identical to Ken Brown Double Diamond. The coating is black powder coat...not paint. I'll let them go for $120.00 plus shipping via UPS ground. Just thought I'd offer!!

UMI makes some good SFCs. I have the Tubular Weld In and they are great. A lot of people who get bolt ins seem to weld them in later since holes tend to elongate over time.

There is much debate on the worthwhile-ness (is thst a word?) of SFCs.
Have a look at the "Bad SFC install cause dimples??" thread. https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...=647533&page=2

I can tell you personally, I had SLP 3pt bolt ons. Good quality, but I did lose ground clearance, and had a harsher ride. You can see them hanging under my car in my sig pic. I've pretty much decided they are unnecessary, so I took them off and sold them. If I do put some on again (I'm leaning toward not) I would get the UMI 3pts. Nice design. They tuck up nicely and grab both sides of the LCA pocket.

Long story short IMHO...SFCs are not a bad thing, but there are several more effective mods(quality shocks, PHB, Sway bars, Springs, etc).

The 3 point brace sfc's look to be better than just the tubular ones. Right??????
Is there that big of an issue with room?
