Default Adj Torque arm seized

I got a used random tech adjustable torque arm. It looks brand new, powdercoating and all is perfect. I am about ready to install it and then i realize that its set at an angle that i cant install it at. Then i realize that the adjuster is seized beyond belief. I took it out from under the car to adjust it and I could not get it to budge no matter what. I tried pb blaster, all my long wrenches, and even tried my propane torch. No luck whatsoever. I cant get my impact on it just but the way it is setup. Basically, the locknut is stuck.

Anyone have any ideas? I really want to get this running asap.

Be sure you know which way the lock nut is supposed
to spin. Half of the turnbuckle is reverse thread after
all. You'd think they'd put it on the "normal" thread
side but I don't remember and wouldn't assume.

Depending on what you have to work with, I'd start
with putting the big hex in a big vise, and a good stout
open end wrench on the little one, take a strain on it
with one hand and rap the wrench sharply with a
hammer near the neck. "Poor man's impact wrench"
is how I got through a whole lot of rusty beater
repairs. In fact I still use "it" more than my air guns.

Of course somebody might've done you the favor of
using the kind of Loctite that needs cooked, to let
go... so the torch may still be in its future (again).
Don't go so hot you change the temper though.

thanks for the reminder on the threading being backwards. I feel stupid but then again, i was working at 4am and i wasnt thinking. This morning, i put a wrench on the torque arm set it up and jumped on it (200lbs sure broke it loose easy). I think the heating and pb blaster mustve helped. Thank god i didnt have to cut the bolt.
