yep, grease then twist the heater hose as you slide it onto the spring.
Only do first full coil and leave a little extra hose on the tip to avoid metal to metal if the spring shifts a little.
Also, I remember reading somewhere that the tip of the top coils should be facing the drivers side. Don't know if it really makes a difference but I did this and mine worked out fine.

Has anyone had a problem with the hose wearing out? I did shocks and springs on my brother's Cobra and we used a poly hose that came with the lowering kit. Does anyone know where to purchase the poly hose separately?
