Over greasing the bushings will cause them to bulge which will stretch them out and cause the panhard bar to move. We see this to often and stress NOT to do this

Did you match the new panhard to the length of your factory one before installing? A 1/2 is very off...
Yes I matched the length of the stock pan hard bar.

So the poly bushing will have greater deflection.

quick question is the jam nut with the notches in it (the one on the passnger side) the left handed thread one?

tried installing my UMI phb today, though one of the lower spring coils got in the way of the bolt on the passenger side, not allowing me to slide it out all the way. Gonna try again 2morrow when i have more time, but i was wondering if anyone else had this problem.

Ya it is a close fit over there. Just wiggle it or if that doesnt work put jack stands on the body and lower the rear end so the spring is loose and it will come out.
