can of worms what rear end is the best for street/road racing car??? 12 bolt,9", S60.... what diff should I use with this rear end???? this is on a 96 TA with a le2 top end on a 383. m6 w/street twin open for all suggestions and Mr. Strano's opinion will be more than welcome sincce i plan on using his products for the suspension. Thanks Art
the 10 bolt is used in AX and RR, it can last (properly built and maintained) longer because unlike in drag racing there are no consistent hard launches (0-100+). but i'de say for AX and RR a 12 bolt would work.
Happy to discuss options. I don't know the exact weights, but if not a stock rear then I'd go 9", aluminum diff housing. Much better choice of LSD's for them. I sell center sections (just not the housings) FWIW.

One question I had lingering for a while....
Can the Auburn Racer's diff be bought in some way if also driven on the street? I know on their website they say they only sell it to people if they prove the car isn't street driven.

I can sell you one anytime you want, no paperwork required. I had to fill that out once too, and it's them covering their butts since a moron with a tight diff can be bad news in slick conditions.
