Question Anyone know what the front/ rear weight distribution is on a T/A?

Not sure if this is the correct section to post this, but figured it probably was the best place to ask… Anyways, I need to know the weight distribution of a stock LS1 Trans Am. I need a legit source for a project I am doing…

Thanks for any help

Alright, I found a good source with lots of great info. I'll post it here so anyone here who searches for it can have it.

Looks like it is 56/44 for a Trans Am coupe

The headlights on the pontiacs are bricks, but I still dont think it would change it by more than 1%.

It seems to me that the LS1 birds should be heavier then the lt1 birds.

I have a 96 Trans AM I have stripped and gutted for road racing. A friend has a 95 Z28 that he has done the same thing with.

His is about 50lbs lighter when going across the scales. The 2 cars are virtually identical.

FWIW ... my TA F/R ratio is 52/48. The Z is about the same
