brembo blanks vs. PBR (OEM)
everyone says that the brembo blanks are an improvement over stock, PBR are the only OEM replacements i can find, but if the rotors are the made to the same specs how can one be any better than the other??
if the brembo blanks really are better, does anyone know where i can get them for less than ~$60 a pop...i can find drilled/slotted/plated rotors for cheaper.

The thing is, they aren't all the same specs. Things to consider - source of metal ore - the quality of the raw materials, tolerances - the accuracy and precision with which the product is formed, quality control - how often do they check for deviations from spec? How often do they calibrate their equipment?, etc.
All these things, and more go into every brand, and none of the brands are 100% equal on all these points. When a company is known for producing a higher quality part, it's usually based on their level of concern for each of these aspects of manufacture.
As far as if Brembo is better, I assume they are, though I'm still running stockers. There are many, well respected members and sponsors, though, who have some authority on the matter, that seem to unanimously agree that Brembo makes some of the best replacements for f-bodies.
