my car is jacked up on 1 side......pics inside
well, i recently put in a pro-kit, and now the car likes to sit really funny
sometimes the passenger side rear is really low, while the driver side looks jacked up
sometimes its pretty even (only very slightly higher on the driverside)
recently i did lose the rear hanger on my true-dual turndowns, on the passenger side (right before the axle), and havent got that fixed yet, maybe thats part of the reason?
the exhaust has no rubber bushings for hangers, except on the factory tranny exhaust mount, so i was thinking that could possibly cause it to sit aweful at certain ground angles, since the exhaust is hard mounted to the underbody
or do you guys think its possible to have bad shocks.....im still using the factory rear shocks, but it rides fine, takes bumps smooth, never bottoms out
well heres the pics to show, its sitting on an angle in this pic, but it sits like that on even ground sometimes too
sorry for the long post

it looks like that on flat ground quite often too
and yes we put the rubber cushions in properly, and put the springs in even
i noticed it sit funny before i put the pro-kit in, but the car was parked for most of 3 months before that.....
im stumped on this crap

Stew
try unbolting your rear shocks and see if the car levels out. Ibelieve you might have a defective shock.

damn
How many miles are on thoes shocks. Ive never seen anything like that. It dosent seem to me like a bad shock could do something like that. Looks to be more like a bad spring. Was it level when you first put it back on the ground after installing the lowering kit?

well, they are the original shocks with 60k miles...5years old
and right after we put in the springs, the car was level, i think we
measured 1/8" difference in heighth
but im gonna take the car tomorrow for an alignment, and we're gonna rotate
the springs and see how that goes and check to see if the rubber thing turned
or slipped
thanks guys
ill let yall know

Dude if those are original shocks then you should just replace them. The factory shocks are total krapp! Get some Koni or Bilstiens fast. Then whild you doing that you can take the rear springs back out and make sure your together right. But you should really get rid of those shocks.

i dont drive it that often, got the beater stang fer the daily work
when i gather some money up, im gettin HALs all around
but for now, it rides really smooth, suprisingly
also, i finally jacked up the car today and twisted the passenger side coil 180degrees, and it seemed to help
the passenger side doesnt droop really bad on roads with weird angles, for now
woohoo
