Default what would help me hook

I just installed my 228R cam and a 75 shot and i cant hook for nothing at all. What suspention upgrades do i really need to make to hook, i already got WS6 Wheels with Kuhmo Escta MX's in the works so hopefully that will help! i would just like to be able to hook when i drop it at 2.5k on my 3000stall and GO with as little spin as possible!

The first 2 things I would do is get some trailing arm relocation brackets and some drag radials. Nittos and MT/ET Street seem to be the most popular. From what Ive read the Nittos hook a little better on the street than the MT's, but the MT's hook alot better on the track. Also the Nittos have about twice the tread life.

Torque arm, LCA's and re-location brackets and some good tires will help bveyond belief. A panhard bar and sub frame connectors will stiffen things up a bit too.

You will notice a hell of a difference!

p.s you only need 1 torque arm. It's the triangle shaped piece that goes from the rear end to the tranny next to the driveshaft. You will need 2 LCA's and 2 re-location brackets though. They are sold as a set each though, so really you need a pair of LCA's and a pair of brackets

really? i never drag race, just roll from 25-35mph, is there anything i can do to make the 10-bolt ready so i can put the tourqe arm on, i havent got a tune yet, im taking it to a bigger city soon, but im sure when i start useing my full shot of nitrous ill be at about 450hp, so im thinking one shredded *** 10-bolt if i can put it ALL on the ground.

I know people that have broken there 10-bolt on stock HP!!! if your never going to drag-race then theres really no point in getting a torque-arm. but your planning on making 450hp so i know your going to drag race! and with that much power youl will break it!

sticky tires + 450 hp + torque arm + stock 10bolt = tow truck
