Default LCA Relocation Brackets - Bolt-On VS. Weld-In

Well I'll hopefully be getting some LCA's and the relocation brackets soon and was wondering for the relocation brackets if there is any advantage to the weld-in vs. the bolt-on. I know on SFC's the bolt-on's have some trouble because they come loose or stretch the holes out or something of that nature and wasn't sure if the same problems would happen with the LCA relocation brackets?

Anyone input is appreciated!

Most peeps will say weld is always better. No chance of anything coming loose. I've had bolt on relocation brackets for 6 years now, no problems, check the bolts once a year.

If you ever plan on swapping your rearend, get the bolt-ons, so they're easier to remove and sell.

x2. Bolt ons if you are going to a different rear end at some point. Weld on style otherwise. Makes a great difference.

Heh, I wouldn't go that far. But it's a nice difference.

With a 12 bolt Moser and lowering springs do you change the LCA brackets?

Hello,

Both will work just fine. I do however recommend getting weld in if the vehicle is raced on a regular basis. Not there has ever been a failure but that is much safer and better insurance. The nice thing is our bolt on set-up's can be welded at any time when needed. If you are running a Moser rear end you will need to stick with the weld in version.

If you have any questions I can help with please ask.
Thanks!
Ryan
