Thumbs down Rear Prokit Springs

.... ....Today I changed out my rear Eibach Pro-Kit springs with my stockers....did the hose mod.....10,000,000X better...no sag anymore...only had the springs on for a few months--were too low to begin with...dropped the rear 1-3/4"-2" for some reason-Front drop was 1-1/2" approx..just right..[my car was not sitting high-- I have seen pics of others 4x4's]..[NO--they are not the Sportlines]---who knows .....they were brand new also-----anyway----thought I would let you guys know--rides AND handles better on the street.....

Can you show pics. I also have the pro kit with it sagging in the back and was considering doing that. Since I still have my stockers.

whats the hose mod??? I also have saging prokit rears.

The 'hose mod' is where you remove the rear isolators (located at the top of the spring, it sits between the spring and the body ) and use heater hose on the top coil of the spring instead.

It lowers the rear of the car without having to buy lowering springs; the heater hose is much thinner than the rear isolator.

which side in the back does it sag> Like a thread i just posted im going back to stock but FWIW my rear passenger side sit a little lower. Ive heard others doing the same thing, maybe they are suppost to do that....

I guess I lucked out on my springs, I"ve had them for almost 3 years and it sits pretty good.

FWIW, a trend I noticed over years of being on this board. The pro kit fairs better in Pontiacs than Chevrolets. I had a set of pro kits on my car for 4 years and it never sagged; TransAm.

I wonder if that has anything to do with the Trans Am being the much cooler and more manly car?

lol....TA here with pro kit and I sit level all the way around. It will sit a tad lower when I have a full tank. I would like the rear to sit a little higher but it doesn't sag. TA ???...
