Question about jacking car up with Subframe-Connectors
In order to install Subframe-Connectors, the car has to be level so that you won't flex the car. That much I did know. Now that the SFC's have been put on my car, is it okay to jack up one end? I don't know if it's me or not but I've been hearing an increase in creaking as I'm jacking up the car. I'm worried that I'm flexing the SFC's. Anyone have any opinion?

I have SFCs on my 02 Z28 and had them on my 90 Camaro. I haven't had any problem using them as jacking points and never used any other special method to jack the car up when not using the SFCs as jack points.

What subframes did you install? I feel like I'm bending the Kenny Brown DD's I have the few times I tried jacking from them. They seem like lightweight jungle gym material to me. I do notice the chassis being stiffer, just don't like to put the jack to them.
Edit: Should have read your sig. I see you have the UMI's. They look stout from the pics I've seen. Shouldn't be a problem.

I have KBDD weld-ins. It was obvious to me that they were not designed to be a jack acceptance structure/ I only jack the car at the frame/sfc connection points, front or rear. My SS is not a NASCAR entry. The only other place I jack the car is at the k-member or the differential.
IMO, jacking the car from the middle of any sfc is just plain crazy!
But hey, I just don't like taking

hell I jack right in the middle of mine, I pick up the whole side of the car at a time, saves time from jacking up all 4 corners, just lift it up on each side and its done.
