adjustable lca? worth it
I searched this forum and found that basically the only thing adjustable lca's are good for is to align the rear and front tires and that is usually done in a shop not at home or on the street. So I just wanted to see if what I found was right. Anyone have adjustable lca's and adjust them, any tools to fine tune the adjustment. thanks for any info. Also if I bought adjustable lca and panhard bar would they need to be adjusted out of the box to work properly.

what is involved in adjusting them(do you have to raise the car, take them off, ect....)? What advantages do you notice the tires pushed back as to pulled forward?

also for adjusting the thrust angle. If your car is pointed straight down the track and you floor it and pop a wheelie, you dont want the car going straight into the wall because the thrust angle is off.
Or if you don't run 8's(LOL), it's good for handling too.

LCAs have to rotate a small amount in a turn or the outer wheel will lose traction. Adjustable arms usually have heim joints that allow for this rotation. The trade off is road noise into the car. I wouldn't buy adjustable LCAs unless there was a special reason to have them. A new design for non-adjustable LCAs have a polyurethane ball and socket that allows the twisting. There is also the single ended heim joint arms that allow for twist but pass a little less sound inside the car.
