Passenger rear is lower than driver side.

Passenger rear is lower than driver side.
The passenger side rear is 1 1/4 inch from the top of the tire. The drivers side is 1 3/4 inch from the top of the tire. A half inch difference doesnt seem like a lot but you can definately see the difference when you look at it.
Can this be fixed? What causes this to happen?
I double then tripled checked to make sure the rubber spring isolators were placed properly and......they were.
I have a 2002 SS with hotchkin springs and SA Koni's. 18" Z06 wheels with 54 offset with 305 Nitto's. I centered my rear end with a UMI adj panhard rod bar.
Thanks for any info.

Don't quote me on this, but I am pretty sure that its do, from the torque of the motor, transferring to the suspension...The torque arms on these cars are pretty weak, and over time they will twist/distort causing your suspension to do this...My advice would be to get an after market T/A, and if you go that route you mine as well get the crossmember relocation kit for the T/A...Just my .02

The 1/2" difference from side to side is normal. Almost all 4th-gen f-bodies are 1/2" higher in the driver-side rear.
Here are my #'s:

Mine is a full 1" off which isn't normal.
But then again, with my stock springs, my car seems to be lower all around than others with stock springs.
(Compare my #'s to yours.... you are only 1/2" lower and your springs are supposed to be at least 1" drop.)

I went and measured mine...
Passenger rear measured 28" while the drivers was 27 3/4"...
Surprisingly, the driver side sits about 1/4 inch lower than the passengers...Go figure...I will have to see when i do any suspension mods, minus lowering springs, if these numbers change at all...

Did you figure out what was causing this? I have the same problem (pass/rear sits about 3/4" lower than driv/rear). My suspension is stock and nothing appears out of the ordinary. Any ideas?
Could the driv/rear spring be cut by 3/4" to even it out or is this not recommended?
Thanks

You can check to see if your rear LCA bushings aren't preloaded one side more than the other, and make sure the ends of both rear spring coils are clocked the same (~.25" away from the stop in the upper spring perch - factory spec if I remember correctly).

Passenger side of my TA has always been lower than DS from the day I took delivery with all the stock suspension.
I have since seriously upgraded the suspension including a Spohn TQ Arm that does not attach to tranny TS housing, and the ride stance has not changed.
If you have removed/replaced your rear springs it is important to align the bottom tail of the spring in the correct place in the spring pocket of rear end - if this is not in the correct place it will also change the ride height of the car somewhat.
