Brake Pads What are the best brake pads to buy for an SS, i just bought cross drill slotted rotors and i dont want to put a cheap pad on there. I was told Hawks where the best but i wanted to get a few more opinions.
Hawks are top of the line. I would probably put in a set of autozone pads if I were just replacing for a daily driver.
Those drilled slotted rotors won't help you stop quicker by the way, though they won't be a big drawback. Just keep your eye on them for cracks from time to time

These types of threads used to get about 700 replies long because there is no best. Each type of pad has its good and bad. You just have to choose which one fits your preference.
I was looking for low dust, low noise, almost stock with a little extra bite.
I decided on the Hawk HPS I believe, I am pretty satisified.
