Default Does this work? Suspension Upgrade

I want to thank all the people that have contributed information and opinions on suspension topics. I feel that now I know what suspension setup I want for my car. I got a question concerning compatability between brands of parts. I want to get the BMR adj panhard bar, G2 LCA poly/rod, and the BMR bolt in relocation brackets. Will the BMR bolt in brackets accept the G2s with no problems. If not, should I just get the G2 brackets? Ok last question. What are my options when I look for the 35mm sway bar? How many brands out there? Can anyone gimme a quick list? Lookin for Strano, Trackbird, Viper and Mitchntx to help if you got time.

There was a post on here a few months ago from someone that tried to use those two items together and they didn't fit. GSLS1 (Lou Gigiolotti, from LG Motorsports...sorry about the spelling lou) also answered that post (as I remember)to advise that they in fact don't fit (due to slight differences in design). Based on that info (and my preference to minimize problems if I can), I always suggest buying them from the same manufacturer. I believe that you can make them work (with some modification), but for a little more money...(maybe the same price) I'd match them up.

Good luck!

As for the sway bar....I believe suspension techniques is the only one.

I'd go with what Trackbird said. It's usually better to stick with the same manufacturer, especially for peices like relocation brackets and LCAs.

I have BMR LCAs and BMR relocation brackets. Within a month or so I'll be swapping out my BMR LCAs for some G2 poly/rod LCAs. From the looks of it, I wasn't sure if it was going to fit or not. Thanks for answering that for me Trackbird. Hopefully I can make it work.

From what I've heard (I've not tried it myself), you will either need to bend the brackets or slightly grind the control arms....(I'd prefer not to do either....but grinding on the LCA's makes me particularly nervous). I'm sure you'll get it all worked out....good luck!

As far as I know, Suspension Techniques makes the only 35mm front bar.

It's a LOT of bar, though! Be careful here. Don't change too many things at one time. It's best to do one thing at a time and react to the differences made. There isn't a cookie cutter setup for these cars.

It boils down to driver experience and preferences more than anything else.

The BMR relocation brackets work fine with the G2 LCA's, and with no damage to the LCA or bracket. I used a pair of plyers with a rag on it to 'pull' the relocation bracket 'out' to accept the G2 LCA. Basically the BMR LCA is much thinner than the G2, so if you had BMR LCA's on you will have to resize it to accept the G2. If the BMR relocation bracket is new, you will have less issues.
