Default master cylinder

I'm assuming that my m/c is not working right and need a new one b/c my rear brake pads that i put on about 5K miles ago look un-touched and my braking feels as strong as my 89 RS with drums in the rear.
So, any good after-market m/c out there or should i just go with a AC Delco OEM replacement?
Thanks

Have your tried to flush out the system to see if there's some sort of blockage in your lines to the rear? I'd start there before I put any money into it. Just crack the bleeder screw and press on the pedal and see if you get a nice stream of fluid shooting out.

As for replacement, the OEM unit will do just fine

I've already bleed the systems once before. Brakes felt a wee bit better, but not 100%. So go for a stock unit...
If no one else has anymore suggestions, I'll delete this within the next day or so.
THanks!!!

how much do you expect brake pads too wear in 5,000 miles.they should look un-touched .even with 4wdisc the front brake do most of the work.are you sure you don't have rear caliper issues?

I drive my car hard!! I go thru front tires as quick as front brake pads. i have to change my rear pads every 10K miles and i've changed then 5k miles ago and they don't have barely a mark on them. and that wasn't the question, i know the m/c is bad and wanted to know if there were any high performance ones on the market...
Thanks for all the replies.... OEM m/c is being ordered.
