Default blew power steering line )=

hey guys i have a derale power steering cooler that has been on my car for a few weeks now. well this morning like everyday i get in my car start it, lock the doors then eat something for like ten minites, then i come outside get into my car and start backing up out of my driveway, and noticed my steering wheel was like a rock. then as i was backing up, i noticed a gigantic puddle of oil on the floor, then i said O **** and shut of the engine. i popped my hood and noticed that pipe i used to connect the power steering hoses to each other had blown off!! and sprayed fluid all over my engine bay
)= so after i was on my way back from school i bought some power steering fluid then flared my coupling pipe and reused it, after a few curse words the damm hose finely went on. but now when i idle the car and turn the steering wheel i notice more noise from the pump!! is my pump screwed up?? thanks

Could be,make sure the pump is FULL,give it a little bit and see if it goes away. If your power steering pump went dry thats never good.
