Default Bleeding Brakes after dropping K member

I recently finished up my motor swap and the only thing left to do is get the brakes to work. I hooked all the lines back up after reinstalling the master cylinder and ABS block, and added fluid to the master cylinder. I then bled the brakes from RR LF RF LF, then bled the two bleeder screws on the ABS block, then re did the brake lines, again working from furthest away from the master, RR LF RF LF, and still had very little/no brakes. I've re-bled everything a few times now, and I've still got just a tiny bit of braking power, and I have to pump for it... What to do?

Yeh, a common issue.

Do you have any leaks? Did you bench bleed the master again? If no leaks, then you have air in the system. How are you bleeding?

I used a Mytivac vacume pump ($40) which is nice to have for this fun task.

Did you take off the calipers? If so make sure the bleeder valve is facing up.

the master is the housing bolted to the firewall and ultimately connected to your brake pedel.

...are you bleeding with two people? ..so one person presses down on the peddle and the other opens the bleeder on the caliper - letting fliud and air out and then he closes the bleeder BEFORE the peddle is released from the floor?

how many times are you pumping it, and are you doing it slowly, if you do it quickly you create air bubbles,

master cylinder/brake booster/firewall/brake pedal

Since you took off the master, you will need to bench bleed it, and then bleed everything else again. I know thats a bummer but it needs to be done.

Remove the master again, bench bleed it (clamp it to a vice and pump it a bunch with fliud) to get the air out and replace it.

fill the reservoir with fliud and bleed all the wheel calipers once again!

Good luck!

If you have two people, it is not too bad.

I did all four corners recently by myself using a Mytivac which is possible, but tricky....

This stuff is simple compared to swapping out an LSX longblock; right?
