If you really want some advice, Id strongly encourage you to look into Konis, and possibly go with a different spring. The sportlines are notoriously undesirable because they offer a very low spring rate (lower than that of the pro kit) with a even lower drop. You practically cruse around on the bump stops. If you want any chance of properly controlling the spring to its potential, however low that may be, then call Sam Strano and ask about Koni SAs. If your on a budget, go with the 3/4 kit. Saves you about 100 bucks or so.

If your only intention is drag racing, and you don't care at all about ride or handling then they will work for you. If you want your car to ride and handle good, and still lauch ok look else where (away from drag shocks). Look into some Konis or Penskis.

Have you ever ridden in an old Buick? Kinda like that...
Your car is bouncing all over because your springs are too low, and your shocks cannot control them.
Your best bet for good ride, handling and launching is stock springs and koni shocks(or the more expencive penskis). If you still want to be lowered and have good ride, handling and launch don't buy springs made for looks.
You will see Strano springs being a popular choice because Sam made them specifically for handling (with his experience in racing, and seeing what works).

The Prokit is also known for having rear spring sag.

They will "work" but I cannot guarantee you will be happy with them.
It's kinda like running in work boots will "work", but wouldn't you rather be in shoes?

Simple answer, Konis. Like I already said, the QA1s will make your car feel like an old buick, but if thats what you want then go for it. The Konis on the other hand will be more like a BMW.

Sportlines and QA1s are the absolute WORST setup I can think of. Terriblly valved shocks for anything other than drag racing, and springs that are not stiff enough for their own drop. If you get Konis, like i said before, that would be the best setup with the sportlines, but your weak link is still going to be the springs. They look great, but thats about it.

If by the track you mean a dragstrip, then yes, they have been proven to perform well. Just set the fronts to full soft to allow the front end to raise a bit more. The springs aren't a big help, but they don't hurt your time much, and thats true of all lowering springs. If you mean an AutoX track, then this setup will surpass your expectations. The Konis also come with a lifetime warranty, so they'll be the last you buy for the car.
