Default Car won't hook

I have a 2002 camaro with about 400 horse, and can't get the thing to hook. What suspension mods do I do to help this out?

kind of a weak question. List what you have!

But for starters you will need TIRES,LCA'S,TQ ARM,SFC'S,QA1 ADJ'S

Was anyone else having issues launching? I pay attention to what others are able to do before I start questioning my set-up.

I'd recommend LCA relocation brackets and use the lower hole. Made the most improvement to my 60' to date. All those things jesse listed will help even more.

Yep, LCA relocation brackets especially when the car is lowered.

Is it currently all stock suspension parts? or do you already have a few components replaced?

Ok, heres what I suggest. Go to TSP or Maryland speed, order yourself some Spohn Adjustable Lower Control Arms, pick any color you want because spohn doesn't ***-rape you like BMR does when it comes to price difference over a damn color. lol Then get a set of LCA relocation brackets. Put them on the bottom hole. Also what MTs are you using? What gears?

whoa whoa.. what about some good tires? suprised nobody said that.. throw some 315 nittos on there... I did and have no problem hooking up.. I only launch from about 1700 now though, cuz i get some slight wheel hop, but when i still have stock suspension.. so when i upgrade that it will be about perfect...

I also asked what tires. Dont get non -adjustable LCAs, they're a waste of money if you're gonna continue modding your car. Also, for 400hp, you dont need damn QA1s in the rear to hook. ****! I asked oyu what gears you got? if you have 4.10s I would suggest getting a set of Mt 135/13/17 ET Streets, or a 27 slick/cheater. Anything less you could use a set Nitto 555rs for. But first, get LCAs (Adjustable) and relocation brackets.

my non adj LCAs are fine..
id say since you have tires you need an adj. torque arm, LCAs, relocation brackets and adj panhard bar

tires will make the biggest difference. if you are running a 10-bolt i would suggest just staying with drag radials. When it comes to actual suspension pieces from my experiences a chassis mounted torque arm made the biggest difference. It really pushed my tires into the pavement for great traction increase. The second most improvement was lca relocation brackets. and lastly subframe connectors really tied it all together and if you get a bmr torque arm you need sfc to weld the crossmember to. I had lca installed and they did absolutely nothing to increase traction. If you really think about the forces lca take the stock pieces are plenty.

FREE MOD!

More PSI in tires = More pounds in tire = Heavier tire that won't hop as much!

i hardly hop anymore since I put new tires on.. that's the first thing IMO you should do to improve traction/wheel hop.. then worry about the suspension, that's what i'm doing.

I get a small hop on launch, and sometimes a small hop going into second
