Default Rear end issues after installing LCA's & PHB

After installing UMI double adjustable LCA's and PHB the rear end seems to be loose and or moving around over bumps, etc. I started by taking the stock pieces off the car and adjusting the UMI pieces to the same lengths, as instructed. got everything on the car and tightened as according to instructions as well. Now, I know there should be some increased road noise but this thing really clunks and chunks like something is loose even though I've checked everything for tightness and movement a few times and everything seems tight, etc. is this normal?
Lca's are double rod ended. PHB is on car poly / rod combo

Also, assuming that maybe the stock stuff was off somehow, I'm hoping to get some tips, tricks and or better yet some solid guidelines and info regarding how to properly align, center and adjust the rear end.

Thanks in advance to any and all that can help.

Did you leave everything loose with the car jacked up and then lift the car up with a jack under the rear end and torque everything to 72 ft/lbs? If not it could be causing some of the noise although those LCA's will make more noise than stock.

yeah, left it loose and then put the car up on ramps & blocks, made sure E brake was off and chassis was settled, then tightened everything down. weird, I guess its just normal noise and I am crazy after all. hmmmmm.

thanks for your help guys.

Double rod ended LCAs will always make a **** load of noise. They allow no deflection, and offer metal/metal contact at the chassis mounting points. If it bothers you that much, trade for a set of Poly/rod end LCAs.

I just put solid end PHB and LCAs from Pavlock on my car...nice pieces..but noisy as hell coming from stock parts. You'll get use to it and also get use to better 60' times also

A prime example of sacrificing some street comfort for a performance advantage.

without interior EVERYTHING is much louder. I don't care about volume, I'll wear earplugs. I just wanna make sure that my rear end isn't going to come off launching or going down the track hahaha

Theres no need to leave it loose and tighten everything on the ground. The only reason to do is because the bushings will bind and since theres no bushings to bind theres no need to do it this way.
