Default Strano Springs. *sold out*

In what has to be a record, I'm out of springs. This is good and bad. It's great that so many folks are so happy with them... it's bad because they sell so fast I can't keep them in stock.

More on order, in fact I ordered the very day the last batch arrived. However that means I won't see more until some time into May or June.

I do feel we make a product that has benefits that other springs set do not. However, do offer other options that range from a pretty close second to things I'd really not recommend. Bottom line is we can offer you other spring options in the meantime if waiting is just not practical for you.

As always, I'm happy to discuss the options with you.

If anyone is so inclined, I can backorder them for you. I had some 30+ sets pre-sold this last time. That insures getting springs as soon as the next shipment arrives. However, I do not want to leave anyone with the impression they MUST do that to get springs, at least not right now.

SOLD OUT! AWW MANNN! I haven't even purchased my first Z28/SS/Trans Am yet and I am disappointed already

I just got off the thread where like 90% of the people voted for your springs.

I don't mind waiting but if I decide to backorder a set do you need payment up front or when they ship. Thanks

I'm not set up to be able to just "hold" items without payment. They are either sold or not sold. So if you choose to backorder, they are actually bought and paid for and will ship automatically when the time comes. This allows me to make sure I don't oversell and keep an accurate running tab on what I'll have available.

Normally I'd say that it's not super pressing and that you can just wait. This last batch I had 32 sets already sold off the 100 sets that came in--before the springs ever arrived. I'd love to be able to order bigger batches, but I have two issues. One is room, I don't have a lot of room for say twice as many springs, and two is the fact I have to pay for them all when I get them... and that's a LOT of $$$ to front, and being a small business I really can't do that.

There is no need to backorder now, or today, or next week unless you want to make sure you get your springs ASAP and don't have to worry about keeping tabs on threads to know when they are coming in. Of the 70 odd sets I had left off this last run, it took about 3 weeks to sell those. If this time 50 are pre-sold there will obviously be less to go around and will likely sell out faster. If I only pre-sell 20 sets, they'll be more to go around....

Then you should backorder them.... The thing is when I pay for them we're talking a figure that could buy a car vs. $275 when you guys order them. If you don't want to backorder @ $275, imagine what I'm thinking @ tens of thousands of dollars a batch. I can't float that kind of money, and even if I could a remote storage place won't work because I can't move them around and pack them if they aren't @ my building.

But yes--I agree it'd be nice to be a huge company and just have thousands of springs around, but it's way too much overhead. And for small companies to survive, we have to watch our overhead costs.

All backorders are filled first, and in order.
