Default slp bilsteins & strano springs

Hey guys, I was wondering if my slp bilsteins would be ok to run with strano springs because I cant afford konis. What will be some of the negatives as compared to the koni's?

As ok as running those shocks with any other lowering spring that the shocks aren't really up to controlling.

Shocks control the springs, if you don't have enough shock control, ride and stability suffer. That's why cars on stock shocks start to ride worse over time with no changes, the shocks can't do the job anymore.

Koni's are the only best answer. These days, the second choice simply because you have some flexibility are AGX's. It doesn't thrill me to say that, but there are only some many options around.

I'll probably end up with QA1's.

Tell ya what, anything will be better than 130k decarbons and stock springs that have been cut!! Suprisingly enough she still handles fairly well with that garbage too??

...especially with the Hypercoils he was going on about in another thread. Talk about two seriously mis-matched parts. The stiffer the spring, the more Koni's become a requirement to control them.

handles well as opposed to what? a dump truck? a go-kart? a bicycle?

i think you're making the right choice in just saving up for the Koni's if your intent is outstanding handling performance....once you get them on, you'll realize exactly how poorly your car is handling right now.
