From reading the boards my impression on the way the top three shocks are rated is:

Koni
Blisten revalves (currently N/A)
KYB AGX

It's hard to give an impression on the differences that just springs or just shocks could make since I bought the car with sportline springs and AGX shocks. I can tell you that in cornering the car feels great as long as the road is as smooth as a billard table, but because of the way the car feels around frost heaves etc I've taken it off the road until I have the chance to get the strano springs in my garage installed.

Take it easy

thanks, yea im not extremely picky about shocks, but at the same time i dont want a **** ride or bad quality. its more of a cruiser and daily driver and i want to get some shocks that can handle the pro kit or stranos once i lower it. because we all know the stock shocks dont have to ***** to handle it.

Given the options available I've started keeping some AGX's in stock. I have a set in stock currently. Bilstein's are a bit better built, but that doesn't mean much if the damping isn't great.
