Default My car is a 4x4

ok, not really, but it sits REALLY high. I just added new rims and tires, and found out my front swaybar broke at the passenger wheel, so I'll be ordering a 35mm ST bar for it.. but really.. what should I do to lower this thing?

I swear, most cars need a 1-1.5 inch drop.. I think mine needs a 2+ INCH DROP! Which route should I go? Springs that drop 2"+ or springs that drop 1-1.5 and then do the hose mod on top of it?

ANY AND ALL SUGGESTIONS WELCOME!

Here's a pic, if you need any other angles let me know (and don't make fun of the non-chrome lugnuts, the gorilla's weren't in yet!):

Call up sam and talk to him.

He will probably suggest that you match that front bar if you can afford it, unbalance Front and Rear bars can lead to issues.

I would personally recommend

Strano Springs (LT1 Pro Kit if you can't wait)
Koni 4/3 setup (especially if you plan on going with a 12 bolt or 9in later)
UMI Adj. Panhard Bar (you need this if you lower the car)
Strano Sway Bars if you can afford it. If not, perhaps consider a 1LE or WS6 bar until you can.

LT1 pro kit should do it.

it will lower it almost 1.5" from what a normal fbody should sit, yours is obviously not quite normal ride height.

Hahaha my WS6 is just like that dude, its a 4x4. I had sportlines on it before but they sucked, I'm curious to see what you get so I can gauge how I want to do mine.

BMR offers an excellent spring kit to drop it 1" in the front 1.5" in the rear. SP001 is the part number and they are $229.95 per set of four. Here's a picture of one of our cars with the springs installed. You will also need an adjustable panhard rod to correct the rear to body alignment issue. Here's a link to all of our 4th gen parts.http://www.bmrfabrication.com/F-bodySuspension.htm http://www.bmrfabrication.com/cc/wayne.jpg

I know it won't solve the problem, but if you're just concerned with how it looks, spray your fenderwells with some matte black paint or truck bedliner it will make the fender gap look smaller too, and look cleaner in general. That wheel and tire combo makes the fender gap look bigger too.

Just don't get the sportlines...
