Wheel Hop Problem
I got a 2001 Camaro full weight and it has a bad wheel hop problem. THe suspension mods are:
Poly Adj Tubular LCA
Poly Adj Tubular Panhard Bar
Poly Adj Tubular Tunnel Mount Torque Arm
Relocation Brackets
Strano Springs Front and Rear with KYB AGX Shocks
Car wheel hops on the street all the time pretty bad no matter what shock setting. Wheel hops at the track in the burnout box for the first 2 seconds then goes away but will hop a bit on launch if the car spins. Car is a 6 speed and has Toyo T1R tires on it on the street and ET Drags on it at the track.
Any recommendations on how to get rid of this hop? Rear shocks maybe? Any other tips or recommendations would be great, thanks

Drag racers.... what do you typically want more of or less of when it comes to shock settings? More or less rebound... more or less compression?

There is not really one good answer to your question. The shock adjustments depend alot on the power of the car. A high horsepower car is not going to have a problem transfering weight so the front shocks settings are going to be way different from a car that is low power and needing the extra help.
