with lowering springs you should install the lower control arm relocation brackets, it brings the LCA down and aligns them with the body so they can do their job.

that is why the wheel hop wasn't as bad with the stock springs, but throw your lowering springs back in and the relocation brackets and bye bye wheel hop. or get some drag springs for the rear, alot better than the prokit for drag.

btw: wheels hop breaks rear ends, so dont do too much crazy **** until you get those relocation brackets.

How many miles do you have on the current shocks on the car? a high mileage shock can loose its proper dampening and this could be a contributor to wheel hop. There are several styles of shocks available, you just need to choose the right one to meet your own goals for your car.

When I lowered mine = wheel hop.. Lowered car + LCA relo's = no wheel hop. This is with cheap azz autozone monroe shocks.

Just throwing it out there but if the pinion angle was off would that cause wheelhop at all? I know it causes vibrations in the pinion angle is off. I never had issues with wheelhop with my car. Just an idea cause he said he put a new trq arm on.

Mine wheel hopped on stock springs, stock shocks and street tires on the street! I just put Moog LCA bushings in and it seems much better, but I'm planning on rear shocks as well.
