im in the process of installing the 1le kit from slpeng, and was wondering what a good setting would be to start out with on the koni's??? as of right now it wont see any track time this year, but it will see lots of back roads twisty action.... also what should i get my alignment done to??? im not overly concerned with tire wear, just looking for the best handling on the street with a few track uses in the mix....autox is a possibility, road racing is more likely... twisties is guaranteed... TIA

What springs are you using?
I am running H&R lowering springs (which seem to run much higher spring rates than most) and I am running 7 clicks of compression and 6 "sweeps" of rebound in the front and 8 clicks of compression and anywhere from 1/3 to 1/2 turn of rebound in the rear. This is for autocross and daily driving. My alignment specs are in my signature and I am at 27,000 miles on the factory front tires....they will make it a few thousand more (I consider that to be reasonably good tire wear if it were a stock alignment). It dosen't destroy tires by any means.
Hope this helps....
My settings may not be anywhere close to what you find to work for you, but try them out (if you want) and be sure to experiment.

BananaNutz,
Did you receive progressive 1LE rear springs?
I received linear springs. I took some measurements and plugged it into a spring rate calculator that I found online, and I got approximately the fixed stock rate.
When I inquired at SLP, they told me they substituted the springs just as GM had done, but that they were within factory specs.
In the SLP supplemental owners manual, they list
10057 front spring 360# straight-1LE
10860 rear spring 130-170# progressive-1LE
But I received
10856 front spring 360# straight-1LE tagged 22132887
10859 rear spring 114# straight-1LE
Is this what you received?

If you put them in the car, measure the coil thickness, the spring diameter and the number of coils (so you can use the formula) before you do. I have the formula at home (If you don't get it before then....or send me the numbers, I'll figure them).
