QA1 Double Adjustable Q's
I searched for about an hour and can not find an answer to my specific question, so I am hoping somebody runs a similar set-up and can help me out.
I just picked up a set of the HAL/QA1 24 way adjustable shocks. The shocks have both compression and rebound adjustment *****. I am going to run my stock front springs at about stock hieght, maybe slighty lower. I have already bought some of the BMR spring cups in order to make this happen. The car will be about 90% street and 10% strip. I have removed quite a bit of wieght from the front of the car by means of a UMI k-member, Spohn upper and lower control arms, ABS delete, bumper support delete, relocated battery, QA1 shocks and a couple of other small things.
I am looking for some good settings to start out with. Is it a good idea to adjust both about the same amount? I read that full soft is counter clockwise and full hard is clockwise. Is this correct?

Perfect...thanks!
I understand that QA1's are not the best shock choice for the street. I wanted something that was going to work well on a 1/4 track and also be rebuildable. The double adjust QA1's seemed to fit the bill perfect. During the week when I am out cruising the streets, a decent ride is only a few clicks away. I figure if I can find a setting that works well for the street, it is still better than stockers.
