The swaybar is the closest thing to the cover, not the PHB or watts link. Shouldn't be any issue because the swaybar doesn't move and I've seen bars touch or rub both TA and AAM covers under full compression.

Newest update....
All the tubing is cut and ready to be welded and all the other parts are ready to be put together. We're just waiting for all the parts to be assembled and powdercoated. The schedule is a little behind, but I'm told we're looking like middle to late next week for shipment.

Good news:

"Sam,

Welding is promised for Tuesday morning.
We are FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!! on schedule to ship next Friday."

That's a quote from Fays2.

I've blown enough money this year already, but I'll definitely put one of these on my Christmas "wish list" (a wish list that will be fulfilled by myself! ).

Now the problem is, I'm gonna need TWO!! One for the race car, and one for my daily driver!!

Sam,

I currently have your front and rear swaybars and love them ! Wondering if the watts link will still be available in RED and is there any chance I could get the item un-coated and do the coating myself locally. If so, would there be any discount for an uncoated purchase ? I have a 12 bolt MOSER in the car with a T/A girdle, what other info do you need to make one for the MOSER 12 bolt ?

Thanks....

Available in Red or Black.... They don't want to sent it out raw due to the possibility of rust forming in the meantime.

The test car was actually equipped with a 12-bolt. So no issue there. I only ask you confirm the axle tube diameter (should be 3"). If you swaybar does not hit the diff cover, the watts won't either.

So I just got the e-mail receipt for the Watts link... when can we expect them to ship out?

I've been cleaning up the wrenches and greasing the creaper wheels in anticipation for the install.

Starting to ship out today.

Of note: There is an aluminum spacer that wasn't completed on time. Fays2 is sending those out at their cost by 2-day air when they arrive (due next Tuesday). Because the Watts Links are shipping ground freight the spacers and Watts Links should arrive at just about the same time.

All I need to know is if your axle has 3" OD axles. Most 9's do.

The Watts link frame bolts to the PHB mounts on the car. The axle clamps are all that change for different rear axles (for instance GM axle tubes are 2.625" OD, most 9's and 12-bolts are 3". Some are 3.25".

If set in the top, the RC height is pretty much the same as a on a slightly lowered car with a PHB. Adjustable to drop about 3.5" total through in 1/2" increments.

Sam can you fill me in on how RC effects handling and if there is a good way to pick where the Watts should be set. Thanks.

I'm going to save myself a lot of typing: http://freewikimedia.com/en/wiki/Roll_center.html

Basically it's a tuning tool. You can change the balance and feel of the car by changing rc height because you are changing how loads are transfered to each side of the car.
