Strano spring noise?

Strano spring noise? Im experiencing some noise from my rear springs. Squeeking and banging when I go over little bumps. I hope I just installed them wrong or somthing, I dont want to have to hear the thud of metal on metal when I go over a bump. I dont understand though because I installed them in the rubber thing. So I mean its not really metal on metal except for the bottom on the spring where it meets the rear end. Any help would be great

I know you said you did, but did you make sure to seat the the spring PROPERLY in the upper isolator before installing it? Also are the pigtail ends seated properly on the lower mount? IIRC, both ends should face the right wheel.
Springs don't make noise (mine or any others), something else is... espeically squeaking and creaking noises (generally a bushing).

Thanks for all the replies guys. I have UMI PHB, LCA and Upper PHB. Nothing else. Im getn konis soon enough but have the stock decarbons for now. Ill deff be checking this out. I cant figure out what the hell the noise is. Alot of the time when I go over a bump I hear like that metal on metal vibration sound.lol. Sorry for the poor example. Im abought ready to take it some place to have them figure it out for me.

Verdad Gallardo i think you need to check the tightness of your LCAs and clearance of your exhaust to the upper/lower phbs and if anything back there may be hitting.

I had the exact same thing after my strano/koni install. The right rear would "thud" when I would go over a small bump, like going from the street up into a parking lot. That would be the only place it would do it.
It felt like when the driver side of the axle would raise and compress the spring the passenger side would uncompress and make a thud noise when the axle leveled out.

Fella's, it's not the springs. What is normally is that because the springs are stiffer, anything that's a bit free to move around (like the exhaust in the over-axle hanger) can shake a little more over certain bumps. Remember the springs are 25% stiffer than stock, that only gets worse with more rate. Further, I can show you the exhaust moves. Get under the car and have someone grab the right side tailpipe and shake it. See if you get a similar sound... most often you find the exhaust hits the upper PHB brace when jostled. This isn't the springs.
The springs might contribute being stiffer, but the springs themselves make no noise. You can also try that youself by compressing them. They'll be silent, as will everyone else's springs.
MAKE sure the springs are correctly seated in the upper isolators (the springs are meant to use the GM isolators). And also I recommend a little lube on the body side of the isolator to make sure everything seats well and doesn't bind. The isolators don't always seat correctly, and that should be checked.

It's not the springs. Springs can't squeak. Where they are mounted to the car.... possibly could, but I doubt that's the cause.
Do you guys have poly bushings? Possibly for swaybar mounts? Or LCA's? Poly bushings that aren't regularly greased squeak a lot. In general this car just squeaks and rattles often.

The pigtails are round, nobody can decide which way they "face", but it's still not the noise. Just put them in so the pigtails are running across the back of the axle (the way they fit on a drooping axle best).
