Installed BMR tubular LCAs and still have wheelhop WTF!?!?!
Just installed the LCAs and went to test them, and the car still wheel hops pretty bad. Especially when I spray. Do I need a PHR or tubular Torque arm to eliminate this problem. Any advice would be appreciated. I also ghet a loud clunk when the car snaps 2nd gear(A4). What the hell is that all about?

Are they poly end or rod end?
Are they adjustable and please don't tell me you bought those POS center adjust units?
Car lowered? Relocation brackets?
Which rear shocks?
Which tires?

Re: Installed BMR tubular LCAs and still have wheelhop WTF!?!?!
I'm also still getting wheelhop with my BMR LCA's, though I'm using Poly/Rubber. Panhard rod won't do anything for wheelhop. Torque arm should help a bit. What should help alot will be the relocation brackets, I plan to get a set soon.

Re: Installed BMR tubular LCAs and still have wheelhop WTF!?!?!
Wheel hop pertains more to geometry (arm angle)
than the arm material / construction. Shocks may
suppress some rear end movement, but I think you
want relocation brackets to make the rear plant
and the body lift, rather than hop & squat.

Relocation brackets fix the geometry after the car is lowered.

Re: Installed BMR tubular LCAs and still have wheelhop WTF!?!?!
a friend of mine put some Lakewood LCAs on his 94 F-body and it totally eliminated wheelhop. He then installed relocation brackets and put it on lowest setting, and it helped with traction. His car is not lowered either. I guess I am going to have to try shocks and TA.

Re: Installed BMR tubular LCAs and still have wheelhop WTF!?!?!
Relo brackets don't help IMO, I have done every suspension mod known to the LS1 and they did not help **** for me but it really depends on the weight of the car alot!!! Your pinion angle also counts as a adj tq arm will help planting your tires to the ground...Lca's just play a connecting role...But hell, what do I know as I best 60' has been a 1.41...NA

I still get wheelhop after Spohn poly/poly tubular LCAs with otherwise stock rear (Lakewood PHB). They did help a bit though..

Re: Installed BMR tubular LCAs and still have wheelhop WTF!?!?!
For my suspension setup I have the poly poly BMR control arms, bmr panhard rod, track pac bmr tq arm, bmr boxed subframes, bmr front and rear sway bars, and a bmr shock tower brace. I also have stock shocks and no wheelhop. I'm thinking of all this stuff the tq arm, subframes, and control arms is what got rid of it. A good way to tell if you need relocation brakets it to look at the control amrs from the side of your car when it is sitting lvl. If the control arm has a slight angle to it to where it is lower towards the front of the car and higher towards the rear you will need the relocation brakets. If you are ok there maybe get a tq arm?

Re: Installed BMR tubular LCAs and still have wheelhop WTF!?!?!
When I got 1LE shocks I got rid of all my wheelhop. If you have alot of miles on your stock shocks then I'm guessing that's it. Second thing would be to get a TA.

Re: Installed BMR tubular LCAs and still have wheelhop WTF!?!?!
I had Bilstein shocks, BMR panhard rod, BMR lower control arms, BMR SFCs, everything except a torque arm and relo brackets. Replace the BMR crap with G2 pieces, can't get wheelhop if I tried.
