Is your rear supported or not? It should be supported. And compare them to your stock ones are they the same length? If not that might be a problem

Ok,

Step #1, Throw the Lakewoods in the trash....

1.Set the body on jackstands.

2.Leave a jack under the rear axle, let the axle hang, don't jack it up unless you need to move it slightly to line it up (you probably won't need the jack).

3.Remove one at a time.

4.Put the bolt through the body first(it is the hardest to reach and install).

5.Have Zane push (or pull) the rear axle into place to get the bolt hole lined up. A standard (straight blade) screwdriver may help to pry the bushing into place once you get it close, just slide it in the hole and use it to "lever" the bushing into the correct location, once it is lined up, put in the bolt.

6. Lift the rear of the vehicle by the axle, set jackstands under the axle (and the body for safety) and torque the bolts on the LCA's. You want the seight on the axle when you torque them or they will likley make noise when you drive over bumps.

7.Send Jason a check....

That's all there is to it.

Okay first of all, there is no chuckwagon sound, there is obviously more vibration due to no bushings, but it is very liveable,,, it is nothing compared to what the bmr's caused. Then second of all, I said I wasn't sure how Kevin put on the control arms when I explained it on the phone. Then third of all, do you remember me saying that jacking up the car from the subframes may not cause the suspension to bind???? How long was I there before I suggested that? Two more things, lower the caps lock and use the spell check.

Chuck wagon sound is the clunking sound from the no bushing lcas and panhard rod. Good performance but gives that sound of clunking steel! Not sure where that phrase came from!

Actually, the old BMR LCA's made "wagon train" type noises. They would bang over every small bump in the road. Good LCA's with good bushings can be nearly as quiet as stock, there will be some increased "vibration" noise (like putting 5 or 10 extra pounds of air pressure in your tires), but good rod ends don't rattle and bang. Heim/Heim LCA's are the best design for high performance use, the trade off is a little vibration for better handling (and making sure the rear axle is right where it belongs). If it is a street car, then drive it. If you are looking for performance and such, you will have to make some small sacrifices. Anyway....

Zanes seem to have the road noise, do they have bushings? Are you selling them now, or still in test process?

You just won't admit that you are whipped and you are afraid your women won't ride in your car with extra road noise. Even if it is slight, they will will still complain. You need to tell them to get over it or they can drive their cars. I honestly will not go with anything else after this panhard/control arm setup. But it is up to you.
