Problem Solved I bought a clutch from this guy and paid one week ago from today with the promises of a Monday shipment. He lives in Texas and his area translates to a one day shipment in which I would receive the parts on Tuesday. I get a PM explaining that the clutch will go out today (Last Monday and he would get me tracking asap). I have sent him MULTIPLE pms throughout the week explaining I had not received the clutch nor tracking. By Saturday (yesterday) I asked for my money back with still no reply. THE WORST THING ABOUT THIS IS THAT HE HAS LOGGED IN ABOUT 3 TIMES EVERY SINGLE DAY SINCE THE SALE!!!

I gave you fair warning Jon and I have a million folks that will vouch for my credibility as a buyer and seller on this forum. I even gave you a fair 36 hour warning for a refund and now I want my money back and answers. I'm not the type to pull stunts like this but logging in and deliberately ignoring my pms is unacceptable. You have wasted my money but more importantly my time as well.

I have dealt with him in person and he is a stand up guy. Everything has gone great with my deals with him and he is cool to have a conversation with. Sometimes the seller doesn't have control of how long it takes after he has shipped it unless it was paid for next day delivery. I bet the package will arrive on your door step on Monday morning. Did you pay for next day service? Was the next day service guaranteed? If it is regular ground then I think you are jumping the gun on calling him out this way. I'd wait till monday and see what happens.

It's standard ground but was supposedly shipped last monday and ground for that should arrive to me on Tuesday or Wednesday if he got it in to late in the evening. It's the fact that HE HAS COMPLETELY IGNORED ME YET LOGGED INTO THE FORUM DAILY THAT BUGS ME MOST. Do you have his phone number? I looked but could not find it.

Yea I hear ya and I know it's a risk it's just that I've been 100% successful in my hundreds of paypal transactions except for this one. I can't just drive out to the places I get parts from when they only cost so much shipped ya know?
I do not know the guy, but I think theres a reason he has logged in and not responded.... I have ls1tech as my homepage with my user id saved, so everytime me or the wife opens up the internet, it opens up ls1tech.com with my id logged in. Give the guy some more time.....

I do know Jon, he is a good friend of mine and I will pass this on to him. I do know for a fact that his truck is up in the air, Im not certain what he is doing to it. This is why I dont do anything with paypal. My bank and paypal acounts have a waiting period of 5 days to transfer anything. Paypal has screwed me over on so many deals I will never do business with them again. Its a shame no ever takes this into acount when doing these transactions and just go running there mouths.
X2^ Even if paid by paypal my parts won't ship until after the funds have cleared into my bank account. It has taken over a week sometimes but I do let the buyers know before the purchase. Also ,Jon is doing a swap and going to automatic on his truck, it's the reason it's in the air...the 6 speed was killing his cinsistency.

It just sucks cause I needed this Tuesday as it was promised and here I am a week later with no clutch. I'm just gonna buy another one and hope he refunds me as I won't need it anymore.
You have a couple emails, one is the shipping label from paypal that I purchased the sunday you sent me the money, one is saying you have money from me $60 what you payed for shipping and the cluch. I am trying to make this as right as possible I dont know why you do not have this clutch but I am not going to let 60 dollars make me out to be a bad guy. Thanks for not bashing the **** out of me though like most guys would do. You also have two PM's from me and yes ls1tech is my homepage browser, so anytime anyone gets on the computer and uses firefox it logs me in. If you need anything else just call me man. I pmed you my cell number too. I dont know how all this happened I am just trying to make it right.

Very cool, hopefully everything works out. I know things come up, and I've been late on shipping stuff out. And usually I'll discount or refund it, glad to hear you're taking care of him.

I have received a refund for the money from Jon and a full explanation. It all adds up know, even the suspicious logins with no PM replies. Jon sounds like, and appears to be the stand up guy everyone has described him as. As long as the clutch gets here this week and it's in the described condition I'll just shoot his money back to him and finish the deal as planned and if it's not I'll just take the return to sender option he has also offered. He was having trouble with UPS and went USPS instead but shipped on Tuesday due to them being closed on President's Day on Monday. For some reason or another it just still has not arrived which may end up being something that needs to be checked into on his part. The only BIG mistake Jon made was not forwarding me the change in shipping information which could happen to anyone who is extremely busy. I'm just glad I got my answers and I hated to do it this way but I'm not sure I could have gotten his attention any more promptly than this. I'll give this thread a little more time to clear his name and then delete or leave it based upon what Jon would like me to do.
